An out of body experience is said that it normally involves a sensation of floating outside your body or perceiving you are outside of your body. A lot of people feel as if they have the ability to look down at their own body, and even leave the location of their body. Astral Travel is said where you are able to leave your body in spirit. It is said this occurs usually while we are sleeping. It is also stated that you will know when you are having an astral travel episode as it unfolds in a series of events, unlike a dream, where everything is all scrambled up.

The term out of body experience was introduced 1943 by G.N.M Tyrrell in his book Apparitions. It is also referred to spirit walking.

It is stated that 1 out of every 10 people will have this experience.

It is said to occur after an extended case of sleep paralysis.

The term astral catalepsy was so named by a researcher Sylvan Muldoon. He believed that all the symptoms we currently feel during SP/OLD Hag of paralysis, being touched , hearing loud noises and such are all just astral travel.

I believe they both exist, and are both unknown phenomena's that like many things they are lumping them into one.

There will be more about this phenomena as well as other theories in the book.
